Have you wondered if your child’s language is what it should be for his or her age?

How can you tell and where can you get help if you think there is a problem? A speech and language pathologist offers practical guidelines and suggestions this week!

Language is the foundation of nearly all aspects of children’s learning and it is key to children’s social relationships with both adults and peers. Yet, especially in the early years, children vary greatly in how much they understand and how well they make themselves understood. Lisa Pietig, a speech and language pathologist at The Therapy Center, joins Marti and Erin with important and practical information on how to know if your child’s language is on track and what to do if you suspect a problem.
