After a long winter, we finally are getting out the bikes, skateboards, and swimsuits for some well-deserved summer fun. The fun is multiplied for both children and parents when we take proper safety precautions – preventing head injuries, ensuring water safety, determining what playground equipment is safe for your child, and avoiding dangerous overheating on those hot, sticky days. Kristi Moline, injury prevention manager from Children’s Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota, brings the latest information on summer safety for children of all ages to this week’s Mom Enough show.
