What does it really mean to be Mom Enough?
Strapped for time, we often feel guilty and compensate by doing everything (and/or buying everything) for our child, thinking that is how to “love” a child. We often focus on keeping our child happy in the moment rather than looking at the long-term goal of raising our child to become a competent, caring adult.
There are three major things we can do to stay focused on that long-term goal, and to give our children what they really need, rather than what just feels good in the moment:
A. Give children a platform for independence
B. Allow children to experience the consequences of their actions
C. Build and maintain your own identity beyond “mom”

What a team. Both so articulate! Glad you directed me to this so I can see what I missed. Keep up the good work.
