Meet Dr. Marti Erickson now” retired” after a long career at the University of Minnesota during which she served as founding director of the Children, Youth & Family Consortium, director of the Irving B. Harris training programs,and co-chair of the President’s Initiative on Children, Youth & Families. Marti specializes in linking research, practice and policy in the areas of parent-child attachment, child abuse prevention and children’s mental health. Even in “retirement” Marti has a passion for bringing research-based information to general audiences, and she is delighted to work with her daughter Erin as co-host of the weekly Mom Enough podcasts.
